When the mutilation of her uncle's goats (and her uncle) by the brutal Chupacabra is caught on tape, Maria Esperanza vows to find the beast despite local fears. With her crack team of students and one tough ex-Marine, Maria manages to make a ghastly, revealing film that makes "The Blair Witch Project" look like a Merchant/Ivory film.
