Featuring the legendary Richard Burton and Academy Award-winner Tatum O'Neal, Circle of Two is the story of an intense and illfated romance, when two people so wrong for each other are really so right.

Sarah Norton (O'Neal) is a rebellious sixteen year-old prep school student just discovering her new-found sexuality. After an argument in a diner with her boyfriend, Sarah finds comfort in a conversation with Ashley St. Claire (Burton), an aging artist in his prime. They both find they share a love of art and literature, and after Sarah passes on some of her prose to Ashley, they become entwined in each other's lives.

Forbidden by her parents, Sarah sneaks off to Ashley's private art studio in the woods, where he immortalizes her on canvas. Hidden from the disapproving eyes of society, the mismatched lovers are free to express their forbidden feeling to one another.

More controversial than 9 1/2 Weeks, Circle of Two challenges viewers with the desperate story of an impossible love, where there are no easy answers.
